Dr. Abdulkader Hamad is a UK-trained Consultant Orthopedic Spinal Surgeon with over two decades of medical expertise. He specializes in the comprehensive management of complex adult and pediatric spinal disorders. He is widely recognized for his work in correcting major spinal deformities, including complex scoliosis and kyphosis reconstructions.Dr. Hamad earned his medical degree (MBChB) from Aberdeen University in Scotland. He went on to complete his higher specialist training through the prestigious Stoke/Oswestry Orthopedic Training Programme in the United Kingdom. To further refine his expertise, he completed advanced, highly competitive fellowships in complex spinal surgery at major UK centers, including Salford Royal Infirmary and the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.Before moving to the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Hamad dedicated over 18 years to the UK’s National Health Service (NHS), where he served as a consultant spine surgeon, handled complex trauma cases, and taught incoming surgical trainees. He holds a formal Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) from the UK and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Tr & Orth).Dr. Hamad's clinical philosophy emphasizes patient-centric, evidence-based care.
