Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon working at Tawam and Sheikh Tahnoon Medical City providing routine and complex spinal services due to degeneration and deformity. I'm skilled in performing injections, fusions, scoliosis correction and minimally invasive surgery.

I completed my basic surgical training in South Wales, United Kingdom rotating through Accident & Emergency, Trauma & Orthopaedics, ENT, General Surgery & Plastic Surgery. My higher surgical training in Trauma & Orthopaedics was in the prestigious All Wales Training Programme and successfully completed my Fellowship exams from Royal College of Surgeons, England. I further specialised in Spinal Surgery by completing fellowships at world renowned centres such as Welsh Centre for Spinal Trauma & Surgery, Manchester Children's Hospital & Salford Royal Hospital. I worked as a locum consultant at Royal Manchester Children's hospital for six months specialising in paediatric spinal deformity. I then joined Cardiff & Vale University Health Board which is a tertiary referral centre and a major trauma centre as a consultant spinal surgeon where I specialised in all aspect of spinal surgery including degeneration, trauma, tumour, infection and deformity. I introduced endoscopic spinal surgery where I performed endoscopic discectomy as a day case procedure. Subsequently I joined Tawam hospital as a Consultant Orthopaedic spinal consultant. As an accredited Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of England as a Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with special interest in spinal surgery I'm involved in the management of acute surgical cases at the major trauma centre in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi. I have a particular interest in the use of cutting edge technology in my clinical practice to deliver a quality care experience to patients in both hospital and outpatient settings. I am experienced in using navigation and also 3D printed jigs for insertion of pedicle screws in spine. I'm also involved in teaching and training of medical students, nurses and doctors.
