Dr. Wail Fayez Tilakh is a highly accomplished Orthopedic Consultant and Trauma Surgeon with more than two decades of dedicated surgical experience in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He currently serves as the Deputy Chair of the Orthopedic Department at Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Mohammed Medical City (STMC) and Tawam Hospital in Al Ain. Operating under the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) network, Dr. Tilakh is widely recognized across the region for his advanced expertise in arthroscopic surgery, sports medicine, and complex trauma care.

Dr. Tilakh specializes in advanced corrective treatments and minimally invasive joint procedures, including specialized knee and shoulder arthroscopy, ACL reconstructions and multi-ligament knee injury repairs; expert therapeutic management of severe joint arthritis, including total knee and hip replacements; advanced surgical intervention for complex fractures and severe multi-fragment skeletal trauma; and specialized micro-surgical interventions for complex hand and foot deformities.

In tandem with his executive hospital roles, Dr. Tilakh is a passionate educator who plays a vital role in elevating clinical training and education across the GCC region, serving as featured expert faculty and speaker at major medical symposiums, including the annual Al-Ain Orthopedic and Trauma Conference (AAOT) and the Fujairah International Orthopedic Congress.
