Biography
Consultant Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgeon | Foot & Ankle Specialist
Dr. Yousef A. Yousef is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon specializing in Foot and Ankle Surgery. He currently serves as Director of the Foot and Ankle Team & Clinic at Rashid Hospital, Dubai, and Deputy Director of the Orthopaedics and Trauma Residency Program at Dubai Academic Health Corporation. He is also an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Mohammed bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU).
With more than 20 years of service within Dubai’s healthcare system, Dr. Yousef has extensive experience in orthopaedic trauma and advanced foot and ankle surgery. He holds the German Board Certification (Facharzt) in Orthopaedics and Traumatology and completed specialized Foot and Ankle Fellowship training in Germany with certification from the German Foot and Ankle Society (GFFC).
His clinical expertise includes sports-related foot and ankle injuries, ankle arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction, osteochondral lesion management, minimally invasive foot surgery, correction of complex foot deformities, Achilles tendon disorders, foot and ankle arthrodesis, and advanced fracture management.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Yousef is actively involved in postgraduate medical education and the training of future orthopaedic and trauma surgeons in Dubai.
